Most of the time director and his/her assistants of any movie or TV play take the responsibility to find out locations before starting its shooting. But hero or heroine does not go with them. But in case of Sumon Anwar’s movie, an exceptional incident took place. Heroine of his first directed movie titled Koyla Moushumi Hamid went with Sumon Anwar to find out locations for the movie.
Few months ago, it was announced that Moushumi Hamid is going to act in Sumon Anwar’s first movie Koyla. After the announcement within very short days it was scheduled to start its shooting but due to financial constraints it couldn’t kick off. Now everything is ready. In June of coming year, shooting of Koyla will start in full swing. Before this, full unit visited different places to search its locations.
Last Monday night director Sumon Anwar went to Kuakata for searching location. Moushumi Hamid also visited with him. Moushumi will play in a challenging role Moina in the movie. In fact, Moushumi Hamid wanted to see the real scenario of that place in which the character Moina of the movie is living there.
While talking in this regard Moushumi Hamid told this correspondent, “The role of Moina is a dream role for me. I want to concentrate with the role till starting shooting of the movie. For this reason, to contain the role in mine I have come into the location of the movie. Therefore, I think before starting shooting if I visit the place I can easily relate with the context of the movie. I am very much optimistic about Koyla. Now time will say what will be happened?”
Story, script and dialogue of Koyla were also written by director Sumon Anwar. Rawnak Hasan will work against Moushumi Hamid in the movie. Moushumi is expected to return to Dhaka today after seeing the location.
Moushumi Hamid acted released movies are: Shafi Uddin Shafi’s Black Money and Purno Doirgho Prem Kahini-2, Anonno Mamun’s Blackmail and Abu Shahed Emon’s Jalal-er Golpo.
