Ridhima Ghosh and Gaurav Chakrabarty, the real life couple plays the same act in reel-life as well in Srijit Mukherji’s Dwitiyo Purush and Ridhima is super excited to see the overwhelming response the thriller is getting since its release on January 23.
Speaking about her character in the film the talented actress also revealed an interesting point about the cast of Dwitiyo Purush and it will surely leave you in awe.
“I play Ankita, Rajat’s (Gaurav Chakrabarty) girlfriend. Ankita is what Amrita (Raima Sen) was in Baishey Srabon. They (Parambrata and Raima) see their past reflection in us (Gaurav and Ridhima). I love working with Srijitda. He challenges me as an actor and brings out the best in me. The best part about Dwitiyo Purush is that four Byomkeshes (Abir, Parambrata, Gaurav and Anirban, all have played Byomkesh) are there together, out of which two of them are mine,” said Ridhima with a witty smile.
Incidentally, among the four male leads, we have seen Gaurav and Anirban playing the iconic sleuth Byomkesh Bakshi opposite Ridhima who played the detective’s wife Satyabati.
