Miss Bangladesh famed Sathi did not see after movie Aha! She came forward to talk about recent Miss World contest. She mentioned it was totally wrong message that for the first time Bangladeshi beauties are contesting in Miss World competition from this country.
From Bangladesh Anika Taher for the first time attended Miss World contest in 1994. She had to attend in the contest after winning the crown of Miss Bangalee in London during that time. Sathi informed that from Bangladesh she first participated in Miss World in 1995 after becoming Miss Bangladesh. Among others, Sathi Bilkis Yasmin won that crown during that time which was also discussed in the Parliament. But on September 29, it was mentioned that for the first time from Bangladesh a beauty is going to contest – it was absolutely wrong information. “I strongly protest the information,” Sathi said.
After winning the crown Sathi acted first movie was Ehtesham and Har Patnayek directed Pordeshi Babu. Siddhartho was her hero in that film. Later Sathi also acted in Kazi Hayat’s Aabbajaan, Delwar Jahan Jhontu’s Bir Sainik, Harunuzzaman’s Annayer Protishodh, PA Kajol’s Boro Malik and Enamul Karim Nirjhar’s Aha! She got the National Film Award for acting in Bir Sainik.
She also acted with Amit Hasan in telefilm Bhalobashar Chhoya.
