Western Union, along with Dhaka Bank made the wishes of two individuals come true under a promotion simply and appropriately titled “Wish come true”.
A total of 2 winners were selected and to each of them 1 Lac Taka prize money has been handed over by Dhaka Bank & Western Union. The winners were Mohammad Salim Miah from Dhaka who wished to buy 2 bangles for his mother and Md. Mohiuddin from Noyakhali who wished to start his own business.
Each of the winners under Dhaka Bank was invited to attend a celebratory event held recently at the corporate head office of Dhaka Bank in Kakrail, where their prizes were handed over. Present at the event were of high-ranking officials of Western Union and high-ranking officials of Dhaka Bank.
After a selection process that covered the entirety of Bangladesh, the 2 winners were chosen as winners based on their answers to the question of what are their biggest wishes. The two winners were selected based on the uniqueness, sincerity and warmth of their answers. Each winner received 1 Lac Taka each that will enable him or her to fulfill his or her special wish.
