A new weekly the Samudra Dara was launched from Cox’sBazar on Tuesday .
Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports Arif Khan Joy inaugurated the office of the newspaper with local elite and journalists.
The Editor and Publisher of the weekly Kamal Uddin Rahman Pearo gave the welcome address before the inauguration of the office.
The deputy minister said, during the regime of present government , massive development has been done in Cox’sBazar district. He expected that the newly published weekly will go ahead highlighting the activities of the government.
The inaugural function was also addressed among others by Acting Editor of the weekly Samudra Dara Md Sarwar Alam and journalists Islam Mahmud, Monjur Alam, Md Jasim Uddin, Junaid Hossain ,Abdul Alim Novel, SM Firoj Faruk, Mohammad Shafiq ,Mohiuddin Mahi and Md Monsur Alam .
