Week-long photo exhibition on Bangabandhu begins in Canberra

A week-long photo exhibition on political life, struggle and leadership of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was inaugurated at the Australian capital Canberra as part of global celebration of ‘Mujib Year’ marking Bangabandhu’s birth centenary.
The exhibition, organized by Bangladesh High Commission in Australia at Manuka art centre in Canberra, will remain open for all from 10 am to 4pm till September 13, a press release said. Bangladesh High Commissioner to Australia Sufiur Rahman inaugurated the exhibition at a ceremony attended by heads of missions of 25 countries including India and Russia, political leaders of Australia and expatriate Bangladeshis residing there. Besides, 10 video documentaries on Bangabandhu’s March 7 historic speech, home coming and different interviews were screened.
