A week-long art exhibition titled “Jollkely” began on Monday at the Zainul Gallery of Fine Arts Faculty of Dhaka University (DU).
DU Vice-Chancellor Professor Md Akhtaruzzaman inaugurated the programme as the chief guest, said a DU press release.
A total of 35 selected arts of 5 students of Dhaka and Rajshahi Universities have been put on display at the exhibition.
The five students are- Sumon Kumar Sarkar, Shaik Faijur Rahman, Saykot Hossain, Ajoy Sanyal and Shipra Biswas.
DU Drawing and Painting Department under Fine Art Faculty organised the exhibition with Fine Art Faculty Dean Prof Nisar Hossain in the chair. Artist and Cartoonist Professor Rofiqun Nabi addressed it as special guests, the release added.
The exhibition will remain open for all from 11 am to 8 pm every day till October 29, the release said.
