With a view to sustain the security measures in the Agrabad govt office building No.1 & 2 popularly known as CGO building , the officials of the 29 govt offices there decided to wear the Identity cards in their neck immediately. In this connection a meeting of the govt officials there in meeting on Tuesday at Divisional Conference Hall of Income Tax Department with the Additional Chief Engineer of PWD Humayun Kabir Chowdhury in the chair.
Considering the present situation of insecurity across the country , this decision of ID card was taken in the meeting.
Heads of 29 govt offices in CGO buildings were present in the meeting, a sources said.
The meeting unanimously decided to install CCTV in every entry and exist points of the building, searching the visitors with metal dictator , installation of archway gate, more security training to security guards of the building, forming of security body headed by one senior official , increase of height of boundary wall of the buildings, awareness building among the security personnel and evictions of the unauthorized vendors in front of the buildings etc.
