Newly appointed Captain of Bangladesh T20I Cricket team Nurul Hasan said, ” We want to improve our performance. To progress our performance is very much important. So, We are trying to do that.”
Nurul Hasan has been appointed Captain of the Bangladesh T20I Cricket team for the upcoming three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series against Zimbabwe. Bangladesh will take on Zimbabwe in the first T20I on July 30, face Zimbabwe in the second T20I on July 31, meet Zimbabwe in the third and last T20I on August 2. All the matches will be held at Harare Sports Club in Harare of Zimbabwe.
Nurul Hasan said, ” All the members of our team cannot perform well everyday. I expect that all the teammates of our team will enjoy if anybody of our team show a better brand of cricket. I think this kind of mentality is very important for a team.”
Nurul Hasan distinguished himself for his aggressive performance in domestic cricket competitions. The 28-year wicketkeeper-batter said, ” When I led my teams in domestic cricket competitions, I always think that we should perform as a team. I want that we can play in Zimbabwe as a team and we should try to maintain a good atmosphere in our team.”
Nurul Hasan has been appointed Captain for only a series. His captaincy will be continue if Bangladesh team perform well under his captaincy.
He said, ” The impact in batting is more important than the score. 15 or 20 runs are seemed score. But the run may influence the game.”
The wicketkeeper-batter said, “When I play as a general player my target is to full-fill the need of my team. But this is for the first time I shall lead Bangladesh team. My target will show a satisfactory performance as a team. I have ensured the performance as a team against Zimbabwe.”
