Mymensingh City Corporation Mayor Md. Ekramul Haque Titu said there are many regulators to make a city livable. We are working with all the regulators like road widening and traffic congestion, canal-bill pollution free, improved drainage system, education system etc. Our goal is a livable modern city.This was stated by the Mayor of Mymensingh City Corporation Md. EkramulHaqueTitu at the end of a rally organized by BRAC Bangladesh’s Urban Development Project in collaboration with Mymensingh City Corporation at 11:30 am mo nday.
To make the city more livable, the mayor sought the cooperation of the citizens in following the building code, not dumping garbage in the drains, etc. He said, “We want to build the city in the vision of the Prime Minister in accordance with the dream of the father of the nation through concerted efforts.”At the Mymensingh City Corporation Chief Health Officer. HK Debnath, Public Relations Officer Sheikh Mahabul Hossain Rajib, Social Welfare Officer Umme Halima and other officials and employees of the City Corporation, BRAC Bangladesh Regional Officer Mustaq Ahmed were present.
