Chittagong City Mayor M Manzoor Alam said, a proposal for rehabilitating the 10 thousand slum families including floating and hill pocket residents of the city has been submitted to the World Bank authority recently.
He disclosed it while addressing the 4 th year anniversary of the City Corporation election held at No.l2 Saraipara Ward Office premises on Thursday .
He also said during the tenure of 4 years, 61 projects at a cost of Tk.13 cr implemented in the Saraipara ward.
He also apprised the meet that Jaica has also granted fund for City corporation under project of city governance and the work under this grant already started he added.
Ward councilor Babul Hoque presided over the meeting while the women councilor of the ward Advocate Rehana Akhtar Ranu delivered address of welcome in it.
