Visiting World Bank President Dr Jim Yong Kim on Tuesday said he fully supports what Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is doing for the development of Bangladesh.
Yong Kim made the remark when he met Sheikh Hasina at her official residence Ganobhaban.
PM’s press Secretary Ihsanul Karim briefed reporters after the meeting. “The World Bank President said he is fully
agreed on what Sheikh Hasina is doing for the development of Bangladesh, and expressed his full confidence in her development agenda,” Ihsanul Karim said.
Dr Jim Yong Kim mentioned that the World Bank is fully committed to providing support to Bangladesh in implementing its climate change adaptation and mitigation programmes.
