The Amitabh Bachchan-Farhan Akhtar starrer registers low opening numbers at the box-office

This week’s releases include the Bejoy Nambiar thriller Wazir and the social drama Chauranga.
Despite the absence of new releases in the last two weeks, the occupancies for the opening shows of Wazir stand at a low 15 per cent pan India. With mixed reviews coming in, the film’s first weekend collections at the box-office ride on positive word of mouth. Chauranga faces a similar fate, with collections relying solely on word of mouth, with a possible restriction to the niche market.
