Chittagong Bureau :One water supplying vessel of Chittagong Port Authority sinks in Chittagong Port channel on early morning yesterday .MV Masak ,a water tanker vessel of CPA used to supply pure drinking water in the foreign vessels anchoring in the inner berths. The vessel sinks near the berth No.13 and all the sailors are safe, CPA sources said.Deputy conservator of CPA Captain Nazmul Alam admitted that the water supply vessel of the port sinks at early 5 am yesterday and said there no obstruction of movement of the vessels in the channel and the port’s rescue team is trying to salvage the vessel. Probe team of CPA is trying to ascertain the reasons of the sinking, sources said.
