Water levels at five rivers stations monitored by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rise while 87 stations recorded falls.
Among the 94 monitored stations, one station has been registered steady while water level at one river station is flowing above danger level, said a FFWC bulletin issued on Sunday.
All the major rivers are in falling trend except the Kushiyara River, which may continue rise in next 48 hours.
A total of 36 mm rainfall was recorded at Sreemongal during the last 24 hours ending at 6 am on Sunday.
