Water levels of 27 river stations monitored by the Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rise while 56 stations recorded fall while seven are steady. Among the 90 monitored water level stations, nine rivers are above danger level, a bulletin issued by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) said on Monday.
The Brahmaputra and Kushiyara rivers are in steady state, while the Jamuna and Surma rivers are in rising trend.
The Ganga-Padma river is in falling trend.
The Brahmaputra river is likely to remain steady, while the Jamuna river is likely to continue rising in next 24 hours.
