Water levels of 25 rivers rise, 45 fall

Water level of 25 river stations monitored by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rise and 45 stations recorded fall.
Among the 94 monitored water level stations, 22 are steady, a bulletin issued by FFWC said on Monday.
All the major rivers are flowing below their respective danger levels and no flood situation is prevailing through the Country. In the absence of monsoon rainfall in the riverine basins and due to no chance of formation of cyclone or depressions in the Coastal Part of the Country, no risk of flooding is expected in the upcoming months.
