Water levels at 20 river stations monitored by the Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rise while 63 stations recorded fall and seven are steady.
Among the 90 monitored water level stations, seven rivers are above danger level, a bulletin issued by FFWC said here on Tuesday.
The Brahmaputra-Jamuna and Kushiyara rivers are in steady state while the Ganga-Padma and Surma rivers are in falling trend.
The Brahmaputra-Jamuna rivers are likely to rise slightly in next 24 hours while the Surma-Kushiyara rivers are likely to fall slightly in next 24 hours.
Besides, the Ganges-Padma rivers are likely to continue falling in next 72 hours.
