Water levels in 43 rivers stations monitored by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rise and 34 stations recorded fall.
Among the 94 monitored water level stations, eight are steady, a bulletin issued by FFWC said on Saturday.
All the major rivers are flowing below their respective danger level. The Brahmaputra-Jamuna rivers are in falling trend which may continue in next 48 hours.
The Ganges-Padma rivers are in steady state which may continue in next 48 hours.
A total of 124 mm rainfall was recorded during last 24 hours ending at 6 am on Saturday at Bandarban, 120 mm at Teknaf, 98 mm at Moulvibazar, 85 mm at Cox’s Bazar, 82 mm at Kamalganj, 78 mm at Lama, 77 mm at Chattogram, 70 mm at Dakhinbag and Habiganj and 42 mm at Sherpur.
