People of East Shawrapara-3 under Mods zone-10 took to the street to protest disruption of water supply by the WASA on Sunday morning.
Realising the gravity of the situation, chief engineer of WASA reached East Shawrapara for talks with the clients, said a press release issued yesterday.
Officials said water is being supplied to the consumers under rationing system to solve the problem of crisis-hit area.
Meanwhile, steps have been taken to resolve the crisis permanently within a month, the press release added.
