UNB, Sirajganj :At least 50 people, including women and children, were injured in a clash between two warring influential clans over establishing supremacy at Charkoijhuri village in Shahjadpur upazila on Friday.Quoting locals, police said the two powerful clans-‘Khan’ and ‘Pramanik’-had been at loggerheads for long over establishing dominion in the locality.As a sequel to the antagonism, people belonging to both the clans, equipped with homemade weapons, locked in a clash on Friday noon when a chase and counter-chase took place, leaving at least 50 of them injured.
