The court of senior judicial magistrate- 1 of Jhenaidah had issued warrant of arrest against the chairman of Pally Sanchoy Bank when he had allegedly passed some objectionable comments on Prime Minster Shaikh Hasina.
The warrant was issued on Wednesday evening when some Mafizzuddin filed the case against the chairman.
The court sources said, Jhenaidah District unit of Bangabandhu Smrity Sangsad and Pathagar president Mafizuddin on Wednesday filed a case with the court of senior judicial magistrate of Jhenaidah-1 SM Maniruzzaman against Pally Sanchoy Bank chairman Mihir Kanti Majumder alleging that he had passed some objectionable comments of the Prime Minster.
The court under the section of 500/506 (02) issued the warrant of arrest against Mihir Kanti Majumder in the evening.
Assistant Public Prosecutor Abdul Khalek Sagar pled for the petitioner, the sources said.
