Warm clothes were distributed among cold hit people at Rowhadaha village in Sariakandi upazila of Bogra on Sunday morning organised by Global Family Movement Center Korea-Bangladesh, funded by Women Ladies Society, Bonani, Dhaka. The Daily Bogra’s Editor Rezaul Karim Badsha distributed blankets among 200 cold hit people at the area where Mr. Mahbubur Rahman Soton, Director Global Family Movement Center Korea-Bangladesh, Abdur Rahim Bogra, Bureau Chief of Bangla Vision Television, The Independent correspondent Mahfuz Mondal, New Nation correspondent Ferdousr Rahman, Jatiya Sangbadik Songstha’s district president Abu Musa, Social Welfare Azom Bin Ahsan Khan Miru, Mohammad Ali Khan Alal, Abul Hossain among others were present on the occasion. BSS from Rangpur adds: Rangpur Shahittya-Sangskriti Parishad (RSSP), a renowned literary and cultural organisation, distributed huge quantity of quality blankets among hundreds of cold-hit people here during the past two days.The blankets were distributed among the cold-hit poor and distressed people including men, women and children in two separate ceremonies at Panbazar area under Haridebpur union and Nabdiganj area in the outskirts of the city on Sunday and Monday.Founding President of the organisation, noted educationist and former Head of the Department of Bengali of Rangpur Carmichael College Professor Mohammad Alim Uddin distributed the blankets in the ceremonies as the chief guest.Incumbent President of RSSP and Head of the Department of Bengali of Rangpur Begum Rokeya Government College Professor Mohammad Shah Alam presided over the functions.
