OPINION: War Between Russia & Ukraine

Muhammad Amjad Hossain :
There is hardly any need to have another war since the war in the Middle East has still been lingering without any positive result. The Middle East has been divided indeed. The world saw the end of the war in Afghanistan on 21st August of 2021 after twenty years of occupation of Afghanistan by the United States of America. Therefore, preparation for another war over Ukraine appears to be unacceptable since WARSAW PACT does not exist. Therefore, there is no justification to bring war from Ukraine to Moscow.
President Gorbachev of Russian Federation declared WARSAW died on 25 February 1991 following the policy of openness and restructuring together. The present world unfortunately is in fact still facing with an endemic covid-19. There is hardly any necessity to invade Ukraine. President Vladimir Putin’s flagrant decision to invade Ukraine appears to defy the opinion of the West in the post cold war.
President Vladimir Putin in fact has availed of the opportunity to occupy two separatist areas of eastern Ukraine as a part of peacekeeping in these areas. Therefore, there seems to be no reason to be worried. It seems to be a good tactic adopted by President Vladimir Putin who in fact historically claimed that Ukraine never had its own statehood but blamed former President Mikahail Gorbachev who was the prime mover of what Putin has called the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the twentieth century. President Gorbachev lives in Moscow who is now 86.
President Vladimir Putin is possibly the last President who has been equipped with historical evidence of the Russian Federation who served as KGB director for 16 years having raised the rank of Lieutenant colonel. By now President Vladimir Putin has had occupied as President of Russia. In fact, there is nothing new in his strategy as in 2008 Russian forces had begun an invasion of Georgia marking some parts of the Russian federation. Historically, Ukraine was part of Soviet Union until 1991 when it collapsed.
Having seen the development in present Russia the western world should not desist from taking further action against Russia.
