The Walton Smart TV Victory Day Volleyball Tournament, organized by Bangladesh Volleyball Federation, will begin at the Dhaka Volleyball Stadium here tomorrow (Thursday).
State Minister for Youth and Sports Biren Sikder will inaugurate the three-day meet in the morning.
Eight teams will compete in the men’s group. The teams are: Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Navy, Bangladesh Air Force, Border Guard Bangladesh, Bangladesh Police, Power Development Board (PDB), Titas Gas T&D Co Ltd. and BKSP.
Two teams — Bangladesh National Women’s team (Red) and Bangladesh National Women’s team (Green) will compete in the women’s group.
