Walton is the title sponsor of National Cricket League (NCL). Earlier, Walton sponsored the last two NCL. NCL has First Class Cricket Status.
Marking the ensuing sponsorship deal of NCL, a press conference was held at the Media Briefing Room in the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Wednesday.
Acting Chief Executive Officer of BCB Nizam Uddin Chowdhury, Chairman of the Marketing Committee of BCB Kazi Inam Ahmed, Executive Director of Walton SM Zahid Hasan, Operative Director of Walton Uday Hakim were present at the conference.
A total of eight teams are taking part in the NCL. They are: Dhaka Division, Dhaka Metro, Chittagong Division, Barisal Division, Rajshahi Division, Khulna Division, Sylhet Division and Rangpur Division.
The two round matches of NCL came to an end. The third round matches of NCL start today.
The champions of the NCL will be awarded Tk 20 lakh and the runners-up will be given Tk 10 lakh.
Besides, The Man of the Series will get Tk one lakh, The highest scorer of the meet will be given Tk 75 thousand and the Man of the Match of each match will be awarded Tk 15 Thousand.
