Centering the Eid-ul-Azha, the country’s electronics giant ‘Walton’ has set a target of selling out 10 lakh units of fridge during the month of July and August of 2019, says a media release.
Golam Murshed, executive director and chief executive officer of Walton Fridge Department, said that nearly 6 lakh units of fridge were sold out during the ahead of last year’s Qurbani Eid.
This year, he said, the target of Walton is to make a new record of selling 10 lakh pieces of fridge in the domestic market during the period of Eid-ul-Fitr to Eid-ul-Azha.
To achieve the target, they undertook extensive initiatives just after the Eid-ul-Fitr of this year, he said adding that the initiatives are: increased the fridge production at Walton Hi-Tech Industries, created sufficient stocks at every outlets across the country, released of around 50 numbers of new models, declared special benefits for the customers.
