Walton started RAM production

After the manufacture of mobile phones, laptops and computers, Bangladeshi tech giant Walton is now producing RAM (Random Access Memory). Walton has created a new milestone in the domestic technology manufacturing industry by producing these vital components for digital devices like computers and laptops.
The production process of Walton RAM has been inaugurated on Tuesday (December 24, 2019) by cutting a giant cake at the National Economic Council (NEC) auditorium in the capital’s Agargaon. Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal, Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar and State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Zunaid Ahmed Palak inaugurated the RAM production process through video-conferencing from the Walton Digi-Tech Industries Limited in Chandra of Gazipur. Walton Digi-Tech Industries Limited Chairman SM Rezaul Alam and Managing Director SM Monjurul Alam Ovee were present on the occasion. The launching program was also attended, among others, by Walton Group Executive Director SM Zahid Hasan, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Walton Computer Engineer Md. Liakat Ali, Deputy Executive Director Firoj Alam, Additional Director Milton Ahmed, and other high-ups from the government of Bangladesh and Walton, said a press release.
According to the Walton sources, the RAM produced in Bangladesh will be used in Walton brand laptops and computers. As well as the high-tech spare parts can be used on other digital devices. Walton RAM will be exported to various countries of the world after meeting the demands in the domestic market.
Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal said at the inauguration, “We came to this event today to win. We want to be the companion of the fourth industrial revolution. We don’t want to stay behind at any rate. I believe Bangladesh will go a long way with Walton’s efforts in the electronics sector. Hopefully, Walton will add many more new products to the electronics market. In the next five years, Bangladesh will be economically more upstream.”
Mustafa Jabbar, in his speech said, “Bangladesh has now become a manufacturer country today when once we depend on the foreign brands to purchase electronics products.
