Walton group once again step ahead to stand beside the national eve football team as they become the tour sponsor for the SAFF Women’s Championship scheduled to be held from December 26 to January 4, 2017 in Siliguri a city which spans across the Darjeeling and Jalpaiguri districts in the Indian state of West Bengal.
During the women’s team’s India trip for the tournament, Walton group will provide Taka five lacs plus and also assured to provide other addition requirements if it need further for team during the tour in India.
In this regards, a press conference was held on Thursday at conference room of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) to provide all the details of the meet.
BFF women’s wing chairman Mahmufa Akter Kiron expressed her gratitude for to stand beside the women’s team and hoped that they would get Walton for the development of women’s football team in near future.
FM Iqbal Bin Anwar, head of games and sports, welfare division of Walton, said they have been with the women’s football team for a long time and taking proper steps for the developments of women’s football of the country.
Apart from host India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, The Maldives, Nepal, and Sri Lanka will participate in the championship, organized by South Asian Football Federation (SAFF).
The Bangladesh women’s team is expected to leave for India on December 26.
