The Walton Specialized Shisu Kishore Summer Sports Festival for children with disabilities began on Saturday at the Mohammadpur Physical Education ground in the city.
Shipping Minister Shahjahan Khan inaugurated the meet in the morning. FM Iqbal Bin Anwar of Walton Group, NASPD President Major Mohammad Yaad Ali Fakir (Retd), and secretary general Selina Akhter were also present on the occasion.
Some 300 athletes from different schools and organizations are taking part in 17 Special and Para Olympics events.
