The country’s electronics giant Walton has brought cassette type commercial air-conditioners or AC in the local market considering the huge demand from customers.
Prices of Walton brand 42,000 BTU (British Thermal Unit) and 52,000 BTU were fixed at Tk 1,35,000 and Tk 1,55,000 respectively, says a press release.
According to Walton sources, sales of Walton brand air-conditioners have gone up sharply across the country. During the period of January to June of the current year, sales of Walton air conditioners jumped up by more than 20 percent compared to the sales of the corresponding period of the previous year.
The 1.5 tons and 2 tons Smart AC of Walton, which was released in the current year, pushed the overall AC sales to go up.
