“The activities of Walton have proved the country is going forward day by day”, Industry Minister Amir Hossain Amu said this while he was visiting Walton factory on Friday afternoon at Chandra in Gazipur.
“Walton is producing all kinds of electronic products now and it has made a complete basic industry products in the country,” the minister added this when he was addressing journalists after visiting the factory.
He mentioned, if foreign investors visit the Walton factory they will realise how Bangladesh is suitable for investment. The minister praised the quality and international standards of the products.
The minister was received at the factory side by the chairman of Walton Hi-Tech Industries Ltd, SM Shamsul Alam, Director General SM Rezaul Alam and other high officials.
Uday Hakim, Director (Operation) Walton, said, “The industry minister’s visit is significant for us. Walton is gaining much popularity in global market as a Bangladeshi brand. The visit will surely encourage all concerned of the company.”
