Former Nepalese Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has commented, “Walton brand products have won the hearts of my countrymen for their quality and affordable prices”.He made the comment while speaking as the chief guest at the launching ceremony of a wide range of Walton brand products at the Grand Ball Room of Hotel Everest in Kathmandu on Friday.Appreciating the quality of Walton products, Madhav Kumar Nepal hoped that Walton would continue its success in maintaining quality and be able to expand its market.In his speech, State Minister for Home Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal of Bangladesh, who was present as special guest, said, “Walton is proud of Bangladesh, and I am very delighted to be present at this launching ceremony”. Recalling the contribution of Nepal people to the War of Liberation, the minister hoped that Walton would go ahead with support of friendly people of Nepal. The gorgeous ceremony titled ‘Nationwide Distribution of Walton Products in Nepal and Meet the Press’ was held on Friday evening.Ambassador of Bangladesh to Nepal Mashfi Binte Shams and Walton Ambassador and popular actor Ilias Kanchan were also present as special guests.In his speech, Mashfi Binte Shams said, “It is a good day for us as Walton is launching a wide range of consumer electronic products for friendly people of Nepal”. Executive Director of Walton (Foreign Trade Monitoring) Nazrul Islam Sarkar, Executive Director (PR and Media) Humayun Kabir, Operative Director of Creative and Publication Department Uday Hakim, Deputy Director (PR and Media) Firoz Alam, Chairman of Rida Incorporated Pvt. Ltd Dr. Mokhtar Alam Ansari and its Managing Director Sarfaraz Ansari were also present.Executive Director of Rida Incorporated Pvt. Ltd Nawshaba Sarfaraz presided over the function. Senior officers of Bangladesh embassy in Nepal, top businessmen, distinguished guests and journalists were present at the launching ceremony followed by a charming cultural program.It can be here mentioned that Rida Incorporated Pvt. Ltd, the prime distributor of Walton products in Nepal, has been marketing the Walton brand products in Nepal for last several years.Rida Incorporated Pvt. Ltd has planed to expand its dealership network across the Nepal by this year. As part of expansion plan, Reserve Investment Company Ltd, a distributor of Walton products in Nepal, opens a showroom in Pokhara on September 20.
