Three-day Walton National School-College Taekwondo Competition, organized by Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation (BTF), began at the NSC auditorium here on Tuesday.
Head of the Sports and Welfare of the meet sponsor Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar inaugurated the tournament at a function, chaired by BTF president Kazi Morshed Hossain Kamal and attended by BTF general secretary Mahmudul Islam Rana.
Some 800 players from 35 Schools and College sacross the country are taking part in the competition.
First round matches of boys’ and girls’ were decided on the opening day (Tuesday).
