The local electronics company Walton launched two new models of laptop, featured with 14-inch High Definition Display, Intel Quad Core processor, 500 GH Hard Disk Drive, 4GB DDR3 L RAM, genuine software of Bangla Bijoy and 2 years warranty facility, says a press release.
The latest laptops were unveiled at Walton Mega Pavilion at the ongoing Dhaka International Trade Fair-2017 in the capital on Thursday morning. Along with Walton Pavilion, the new models of laptops are available at all Walton Plazas and the company’s branded outlets across the country. Walton is also offering an android smart phone and a backpack or maximum 10 percent cash discounts to the customers of Walton brand laptops.
The launching ceremony was attended by President of Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) Mostafa Jabber, Walton Group Executive Directors SM Zahid Hasan (Policy, HRM and Admin) and Humayun Kabir (PR & Media), First Senior Additional Director Md Liakat Ali, Media Adviser Enayet Ferdous and other senior officials.
The officials informed that the two new model laptops were added to the existing Passion and Tamarind series of Walton brand laptop. The local company set the prices of the new laptops at Tk 23,990 and Tk 22,990 respectively.
At the event, the local company also extended the warranty period of Walton brand laptops up to 2 years from earlier one year.
The new model laptop of Passion series is featured with 14-inch HDD Display, 500GB HDD, 4GB DDR3L RAM, DVD Multi, 9-in-1 card reader, high definition audio.
