Bangladeshi multi-national brand Walton has observed various functions to create awareness on Dengue, that wreaking havoc across the country. The awareness programme included cleaning office premise, holding rally and brief discussion on the issue.
The Dengue Awareness function was held on Thursday at Walton Corporate Office in city’s Bashundhara area with the slogan ‘Will keep our place clean and will redress Dengue’.
Over 500 members of Walton family, led by its director S M Mahbubul Alam, launched cleaning the office premise and its adjacent area. Then a rally was out from the car parking area of their office which covered various parts of Bashundhara residential area and stopped at the main gate following by a brief discussion.
Speaking on the occasion, S M Mahbubul Alam said, we all know what to do if diagnosed with dengue or why dengue fever is occurred. However, it is important to implement this awareness in our own life. And if this implementation can be started in one’s life, it will spread all over the society.
