Walton Group Wednesday provided Taka three crore to the fund of Bangladesh Labour Welfare Foundation (BLF).
Executive Director of Walton Group SM Zahid Hasan handed over the cheque to State Minister for Labour and Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment Mujibul Huq Chunnu at Secretariat here,said a press release.
Secretary Michael Shipar, joint Secretary M A Kashem Masud and officials of Walton Group were present, among others.
The money has been deposited in bank as Fixed Deposit Receipt (FDR). The profit of the FDR would be spent to help the needy labourers.
