Some unique features of Walton appliances, including application of world’s latest technology, world-class quality and competitive price, are resulted in going up its produced goods in the global market. Now, ‘Made in Bangladesh’ has been uttered with honour in the international market.
The foreign distributors of Walton products from Nepal, Bhutan and some other countries made the remarks while addressing the four-day long “Walton International Distributors Conference-2018” at Walton Headquarters in Chandra, Gazipur recently, says a media release.
More than six thousands local and international distributors of Walton took part in the conference.
Sonam Tobgay, an official from the sole distributor of Walton in Bhutan named ‘State Trading Corporation of Bhutan’, said they established business relationship with Walton in 2014 through marketing the Bangladeshi brand’s fridges, air conditioners, televisions and other home appliances.
Very recently, marketing of Walton brand laptops, smart phones and other ICT devices have been started in Bhutanese market, he said.
“The demands of the Walton brand appliances in the Bhutanese market have been going up very rapidly.
The annual market growth of Walton in Bhutan is on average 20 to 25 percent,” he noted.
Three unique features—competitive price, aesthetic designs and modern technologies—are the prime driver of the rapid market growth of Walton in the Bhutanese market, he opined.
Addressing the conference, Muktar Al Ansari, chairman of Rida Incorporated Limited, a sole distributor of Walton in Nepal, said, Walton would be turned into the premier brand among the Nepalese very soon.
