The Walton-BSJC Media Cup Football Tournament advanced to the quarter-finals stage on Tuesday.
RTV, Manabzamin, Kalerkantho, SA TV, bdnews24.com, Dhaka Tribune moved into the quarter-finals on Tuesday.
Earlier, Somoy TV, Channel24 confirmed their quarter-finals berth.
In the day’s matches, Dhaka Tribune defeated Jagonews by two goals to nil, Channel i overcame Naya Diganta by three goals to nil, BTV edged past Maasranga TV by a solitary goal, SA TV eased past Bangladesh Pratidin by four goals to nil, Channel 9 defeated ATN Bangla by a solitary goal, RTV beat The New Nation by two goals to nil at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium.
General Secretary of Rangpur Division Journalists Association Ashraful Kabir Ashif, Honourary Member of Bangladesh Sports Journalists Community (BSJC) Nayeem Hossain, former administrator of Bangabandhu National Stadium Md Yahya, Assignment Editor of Channel i Tariqul Islam Masud, former sports secretary of Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) Rafiqul Islam, former vice-president of DRU Abu Darda Jubaer distributed the prizes.

Kalerkantho vs Dhaka Tribune (11.00 am),
SA TV vs bdnews24.com (12.00 Noon).
