The day-long Walton boxing talent hunt programme to be held today (Sunday) at the Muhammad Ali Boxing Stadium. Bangladesh Amateur Boxing Federation will arrange the programme under auspices of RB Group.
The programme starts at 12.00 am. A number of 60 boxers from different services teams, clubs and districts will participate in the selection programme.
World champion kick-boxer A Ali Jacko will conduct the selection programme. The selected boxers will get chance to be professional boxers in future. A Ali Jacko will take step to make the selected boxers as professional boxers in United Kingdom.
Regarding the talent hunt programme, a press conference was held at the conference room of Bangabandhu National Stadium on Saturday. Additional Director of RB Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, Adviser (Administration) of ATN Bangla Colonel (Retd) Mir Md Motahar Hasan, Executive Director of RB Group SM Zahid Hasan, Operative Director of RB Group Uday Hakim, General Secretary of Bangladesh Amateur Boxing Federation MA Quddus Khan were present at the conference.
