Walsh arrives in the city today

Newly appointed Bowling Coach of Bangladesh National Cricket team Courtney Walsh will arrive in the city today to take over his charge. Walsh signed an agreement with the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) which is effective from September 1 2016 and will continue up to 2019 World Cup Cricket.
Confirming the news, BCB president Nazmul Hassan on his arrival from Singapore told reporters, “We are hoping he will arrive in Dhaka on Saturday night. I think he is going to be an excellent inclusion for our pace bowling.”
Earlier, Walsh was the Manager of West Indies Under-19 side, was a bowling consultant for the Jamaica Tallawahs in the Caribbean Premier League, was a part of the coaching team for the ICC Americas Cricket Combine and more recently, a selector of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB).
Courtney Walsh bagged 519 wickets playing 132 Test matches. He claimed 227 wickets playing 205 One Day International (ODI) matches. He captured 1807 wickets playing 429 First Class matches.
