Talented director Wakil Ahmed worked with late noted film director Shibli Sadik for more than 10 years as his chief assistant. Later he made his first movie titled Shot Manush casting Ilias Kanchan and Diti as a pair on the screen.
By making his first movie Wakil Ahmed came into limelight. Later he made movies Prem-er Ahankar, Adhikar Chai, Bhulona Aamai, Ke Ami, Bhalobashar Dushmon, etc.
This noted director is going to make another movie titled Koto Swapno Koto Asha. Pori Moni and Bappi Saha will act in two lead roles in this movie which script and story were also written by the director.
Director Wakil informed that main theme of his movie is the victory of anti-communal movement.
He said, “The movie will be released on January 13. I believe the movie will attract the viewers. I have made it sincerely and cordially.”
It is mentioned that Wakil Ahmed has been engaged with theatre group Mohanogori 77 for many years.
At the beginning he started his career as an actor. Later he engaged himself with giving direction and writing script.
His scripted theatre play Bingsho Shatabdir Shonar Horin was appreciated to all. He is hailed from Tantibazar of old Dhaka.
