Wahida Begum has recently been appointed the Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of Ansar-VDP Unnayan Bank with effect from November 2. Prior to the promotion, she was the General Manager of Rupali Bank Limited, said a press release.
Chowdhury started her career with Rupali Bank as a Senior Officer in 1998, according to the statement. She also served at the bank as CEO of Rupali Banks Securities Limited and Divisional head. She obtained her graduate and postgraduate degrees in economics from the Jahangirnagar University. She visited different countries like Malayasia, UAE for higher training for banking. Wahida Begum born in Begumgonj Thana in Noakhali district.
