NRB Bank Limited has appointed Md. Abdul Wadud as its new Deputy Managing Director. Prior, he was the Deputy Managing Director of City Bank Limited, said a press release.
Starting his career as management trainee of Eastern Bank Limited in January 1996, Wadud worked as Branch Manager, Unit Head Corporate Banking and Head of Structured Finance in EBL and later on joined City Bank in 2011 as Head of Credit Risk Management.
During his tenor in City Bank, he served as Chief Risk Officer, Head of Credit Risk Management, Head Commercial Banking, Trade and SME M Business, CAMLCO in addition to looking after Supply Chain Finance, Legal and Special Asset Management Division at various times joining the bank in June 2011.
Wadud completed his MSc in Statistics from Jahangirnagar University and also completed an MBA from Victoria University, Australia. He is also a Diploma Associate of the Institute of Bankers, Bangladesh (DAIBB).
