The voters will be informed about their respective polling centres and serial numbers through short message service (SMS) during the upcoming mayoral election. Election Commission Secretariat Director Israil Hossain told BSS correspondent that voters can now know their polling centre, serial number and voter number by sending their national identification (ID) number through SMS to 105 from any mobile phone operator. The official also said the service has been opened from Sunday. Smart card holders will have to type PC (space) smart card number and send it to 105.
