Australia are keeping their “fingers and toes crossed” as Tayla Vlaeminck’s participation for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is in jeopardy due to a leg injury. The pacer was seen wearing a moon boot – something that is used for the treatment of severe sprains, fractures and tendon or ligament tears.
Vlaeminck has already missed the warm-up game against South Africa. “Tay’ unfortunately has a new fashion accessory to her foot, which the medical staff are working through,” Australia all-rounder Ellyse Perry said. “Anything that requires a moon boot isn’t overly great.
