Chancellor of VIT University, India and former Minister of Tamil Nadu Dr. G. Viswanathan on Thursday called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique at the latter’s office in the city.
VIT University Vice President G. V. Selvam, Vice-Chancellor of Daffodil International University of Bangladesh Prof. Dr. Yusuf M. Islam and DU Prof. Dr. A. I. Mostafa were present on the occasion, a DU press release said.
During the meeting, they discussed various issues including possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic programmes between Dhaka University and Indian VIT University.
