Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Asaduzzaman Miah said that the nationwide ongoing violence will be stopped within 7 days.
The law enforcers will take stern action against the anarchists and miscreants to resist the violence in the metropolitan area at any cost.
The DMP boss said this at a programme of bus-owners organization of northern districts in the city’s Gabtoli Central Bus Terminal on Tuesday.
The police official requested the people to help them to bring back the normal atmosphere considering the interest of civic life.
“DMP is committing to establish the law and order situation in Dhaka by any means,” Asaduzzaman said.
He also said that nobody has right to create sufferings in city life in the name of hartal and blockade.
