One Babul Pal ,35, son of late Lal Chand Pal was killed in a clash between two groups of villagers of Took Dhirai village under Dhirai upazila of the district Tuesday.
The clash originated between Babul Pal group and Akteruddin group over a land dispute this morning.
Both the groups attacked each others with country made lethal weapons.
At one stage of clash members of Akteruddin group stabbed Babul Pal indiscriminately and he died on the spot.
A case was filed with Dhirai Thana in this connection. Police arrested four persons including three women caders of Akteruddin group. They are Takmina Begum, Selim Miah, Momena Begum and Uzzala Begum.
Police recovered the body of Babul Pal and sent it to Sunamganaj Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
