Karnaphuli Gas Distribution Company Ltd conducting month long disconnection programs against the unauthorised use of pipeline gas and bypassing meters in Wajedia, Pathanpara Oxygen, Baizid, Hamzarbagh, Chandgaon, Rahattarpool, Masterpool, Bakalia, Jamalkhan, Khulsi, Raozan, Rangunia, Karnaphuli, Patiya, Reazuddinbazar, Charchaktai, Kotwali, Patenga, Pahartali, North and south Kattali, Jafrabad, Bhatiari areas in the port city .
During the period , residential connections of 661, commercial 11, industrial 2, CNG 2 and one captive power plant connections have been snapped in these areas. Beside the disconnection of gas connections , drive of realising outstanding bills geared up .
Manager(Vigilance) of KGDCL Engr. Abul Kalam Azad, Engr.Md. Alamgir Hossain and Engr. Palash Sarkar were present during the disconnection drive, a KGDCL sources said.
